    Yes, I think it was far better before applications, but I think that the issue is giving everyone the option to send you a notification, not the Apps themselves. I'm hoping that 2008 will bring an App that I actually want to use regularly :)

    There is a huge amount of potential for using the platform for useful things that can improve the overall user experience. Unfortunately the most visible applications that immediately come to peoples minds are useless, spammy, fun for five minutes apps that damage the user experience.

    Yes and no - some of the games and quizzes are quite good fun. You cant just rule out all applications - particularly as its one of the viral aspects that's made Facebook so popular. But any app that makes you invite 10 or more…  more
